The homeowner’s of this busy household of eight pined for an updated master bathroom retreat. Typical of 1997 standard contractor finishes, this bathroom had a fiberglass shower stall, a fiberglass tub set in a deck of tiled surround, and the lousy trend of carpet in main bathroom area. Due to budget constraints the wall was kept dividing the shower and main bathroom. A freestanding tub replaced the clunky tub deck. This MTI Luxury tub is unique in that all the plumbing components are hidden inside the back side, therefore you don’t need a floor mounted faucet (set into the tub is a budget saver). For a wood floor look the Surface Tile Concord Plank 6” x 36” “Dark Walnut anchors the space with durability. The new white vanity with Quartz “Cloud” countertops closely mimics the 12” x 24” Calcutta polished stone in the new shower. Gone is the large vanity mirror with diva lights now set with two mirrors encased with three decorative light sconces. Now refreshed into the present day with new fixtures, neutral grays, whites and wood texture look, brings this master bathroom into a much desired retreat for these hardworking parents.
