Bridal Motivation

This elegant home on over 12 acres in West Linn is grand but the 1998 master suite bathroom desperately needed an update. The homeowner’s motivation was to get it done for the anticipated wedding at the property in which the bride and her bridesmaids would be getting ready in here. It certainly would be nicer for those memorable wedding pictures if the bathroom looked as elegant as the bride.

Revive designed the new look by removing the existing Roman Greco style columns and step platform to the tub and added wainscoting to blend in with some of the existing ornate millwork. The platform tub was replaced with a high end freestanding tub with a traditional brushed nickel floor mounted faucet.

The footprint of the bathroom remained the same because all the spaces worked well already. The 5’x5’ shower was stripped to the studs which allowed for all the new plumbing components including body sprays, 2 shower heads, and a rain head all enclosed (including the ceiling) in a gorgeous 12”x24” Quest matte tile that replicates a marble look. To make the 36” wide soap niche completely unique, an Arabesque Beveled Mosiac  in a grey color lines the backside of it.  

A radiant heat flooring system keeps everyone’s feet warm. New counter tops, modern sinks, faucets, light fixtures, storage cabinets all contribute to an exquisite spa like retreat master on suite.
