Revive Remodeling was brought in to design an outdated traditional kitchen to a more modern, polished spin while still feeling representative to the original house. Amongst the priorities was to open the wall between the kitchen and dining room giving the vision of a wide-open space, literally the length of the house. Because the new gas range was moved into a peninsula, a sleek ceiling exhaust fan was placed in lieu of a pop-up downdraft exhaust system. The clunky old pantry closet with bifold doors was removed and replaced with a wall of cabinetry hiding the fridge with matching door panels. And the kitchen nook was encased with new built in bench for abundant seating. Taking advantage of the nine foot ceilings, the new cabinets go full height. Three different cabinetry colors/stains uniformly work together with the original red oak flooring skillfully refinished in a milky finish to remove the red tints.

The countertops in Pental Quartz 3 CM Stella Gold, has a tranquil palette like marble with subtle hints of browns and gold. The backsplash, La Riviera Blanc Ceramic tile adds a reflective shine along with the artisan finish and handmade appearance keeping things light and airy. A black composite sink with matte black hardware finishes contrasts with the whites and light tones to complete the dream design in keeping it unique and functional.
