Oak Overload Gets an Updated Overhaul

SW Willamette Way East, Wilsonville, OR, 97070

Kitchens of the 80s are chock full of oak cabinets. Besides an overhaul of new cabinetry these empty nesters wanted surpassing function without blowing out walls. The new design entails a lot of storage by removing the soffits for full height uppers and extending the base cabinets all the way into the existing nook creating oodles of countertop space. Full height pantry cabinets with roll out shelves replaced the old slatted bifold closet spaces, including the “laundry closet” with stacked washer and dryer now neatly hidden behind a new single panel white door. Dreamy Alder cabinets stained with a hint of grey wraps the kitchen in sophisticated warmness. And the new island includes a table extension with the kitchen’s spectacular matching Pental Quartz Statuario containing distinctive veining in greys and golds that simply marries with the new cabinets. New stainless steel appliances complete the new sleek and bright look
