Double Decker Reimagined

SW Clearview Way, Tigard, OR, 97223

This original 1990’s deck was in poor shape. Because the house sits on a sloped lot overlooking a protected natural setting you feel like you’re up within the trees. To take advantage of the spectacular setting, the double decks were expanded out slightly from the octagonal bump out giving ample space for large gatherings. Building a deck that seamlessly complements the architecture of a house is no easy feat. Since the third side deck served no purpose, it was removed and the stair access was reconfigured to suit the elevation of the backyard. This puppy is now built to last, and as Don says, it may out last the house.

The homeowners wanted MAINTENANCE FREE EVERYTHING. So, we delivered with decking and fascia boards of Timbertech “Rustic” brown composite, steel posts supporting the upper deck are powder coated in black match the custom iron railings. All these elements combined create a clean line elegance to the entire structure. Let the outdoor partying begin.
