Retro From Vintage to Modern Day
Kitchen Gets a Revamping
SW Seville Ave., Lake Oswego, OR 97035
Sometimes it’s worth the wait to have your remodel done right. Five years after these clients first contacted us they came back after saving their money and said they were ready to do their kitchen remodel. The vintage 60’s knotty pine cabinets (actually really well built) served their purpose, but it was time for a new look with some modern conveniences. To keep the remodel within some budget restraints the footprint was kept the same.
Some of the noticeable changes were removing the one soffit over the sink wall to make it a clean look and full wall of herringbone set tile. The cabinets extended above the fridge and new pantry are actually faux doors, we did not remove the soffit there, and gives the illusion of more space. Added features include a roll out spice rack and pull out garbage drawer. The new apron sink is adorned with a modern black with pull down sprayer. New modern ceiling flush mount lights illuminate the new white Quartz countertops and a gray slate look LVT flooring anchors the kitchen cohesively.
