It’s hard to pick out the most stunning element of this kitchen remodel, there are so many. The 1990’s kitchen was great in size but dated with its Maple cabinets and understated island. The homeowners’ main goals were storage, ample cooking space, conveniences, and floating shelves to display and store items. After a few rounds of design, and yes, more than a few last minute changes, the final result is a warmhearted experience in the heart of this home.

Cabinetry from floor to ceiling replaced the unused desk and small pantry closet on the left side of the kitchen. The new cabinetry also houses multiple pantry roll outs, a coffee station, microwave, and LG industrial double door oven. The island stained in a grey brown, truly an island in itself, has immense storage with two open shelving areas, a convenient prep sink topped with 3cm Pental Quartz “Lattice”.

The perimeter cabinets painted in white have a ton of drawers (all the rage) for convenient access to storage items and in the corner (utilizing all space) a modern Lazy Suzan that swings out for – you guessed it – convenient access. Ashland slim brick covers two walls of the kitchen with a pot filler for – again -convenience sits above the stove top and under the industrial stainless steel exhaust hood.
