Retro 70’s Guest Bathroom Gets a Complete Overhaul

Seemingly stuck in a 70’s time capsule, this bathroom definitely needed some work. From the awkward soffits enclosing the tub surround height and light panel over the vanity inhibited its potential for space. The floral wallpapered walls were a kickback to its glory days. The homeowner’s goal was to remove the tub and make it a full walk in shower and update everything with a fresh neutral look. 
Fully gutted, the new bathroom floor and shower walls were done in a large 15”x30”format Solstice White matte tile from American Olean to keep a consistent look. Adding a pop of interest the Indigo blue diamondback mosaic nestles inside the two tiered soap niche. The new bypass shower door is simply perfect for tight areas and a fun small Acacia bench is the perfect solution in lieu of a built in bench for the five foot in length shower. The new soft clean lined gray vanity with matching over the toilet cabinet plus a three mirrored inset medicine cabinet allots for an abundance of storage. Now a 21^st Century update
