This master bathroom was compartmentalized with a separate toilet and shower room off the vanity area. It felt dark, closed in, and whoever thought carpet in the bathroom was a good idea should be reprimanded. The new design expanded the space by removing the separating enclosed walls, relocating the toilet over to allow a much larger shower. The shower half wall with glass panel keeps the space open and airy with new recessed can lights that lighten up a windowless bathroom.
The homeowners opted for a refined 4”x12” white subway tile in the shower, brushed nickel fixtures, a patterned LVT bathroom plank flooring, and Alder double sink vanity to complete the new look. In addition, in the bedroom, coordinating his and hers custom wardrobe cabinets were installed in the wall niche just outside the new bathroom. And for privacy a beautiful Alder barn door with rain glass was installed.
